About 73smile
The people behind the game.
Youth sports take a team. Not just the players on the court, field or ice, but the people organizing schedules, answering messages, tracking expenses and making sure everyone knows where to be.
73smile is an independent Canadian resource dedicated to supporting the volunteer managers, coaches and families who make youth sports possible.
Practical help for real volunteer work
Our focus is straightforward: help the people behind the game get organized, find useful starting points and spend less time figuring everything out from scratch.
We bring together practical guides, free resources and digital tools for team setup, communications, team apps, finances, tournament travel, fundraising and volunteer coordination.
Starting in British Columbia
Our initial focus is British Columbia, with a longer-term aim to support sports communities across Canada and North America. We recognize that each sport, school and club works differently. Your organization's requirements and procedures always come first.
Built around the season
Whether you are accepting the manager role for the first time or preparing a handover for the next volunteer, useful guidance should be easy to understand and practical to put into action.
Our approach is to clarify responsibilities, organize the essentials and build manageable routines. Less last-minute scrambling. More room to support the team.
The Team Manager Playbook
The Team Manager Playbook — British Columbia Edition is a digital handbook and toolkit designed to simplify managing youth-sports teams in BC. It includes a 47-page interactive PDF, 16 electronically fillable forms, a seven-sheet Excel finance workbook, team-app setup instructions, tournament and travel guidance, financial-management tools and BC sports resources.

Independent and community-focused
73smile is not a sport governing body and does not speak on behalf of a club, school, league or team-app provider. References to other organizations or services do not imply affiliation or endorsement.
We do not replace your organization's policies or professional advice. We offer practical starting points to help you ask the right questions and keep the season organized.
Because the people behind the game deserve support, too.
